FADZAI Muvuti. Remember the name!
If the experts are to be believed, the 19-year-old Zimbabwean could be the next big thing on the catwalk.
The lanky beauty, standing 1.78 meters tall, was on Saturday crowned the Elite Model Look Zimbabwe winner – which qualifies her for the world finals to be held in Shanghai, China, on December 1.
Fadzai’s night of triumph at the Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare put her on the same path that Nyasha Matonhodze walked on her way to conquering the world.
Nyasha was also signed by Elite Model Management, a world-famous model management group which has organised the Elite Model Look in 70 countries for the last 28 years.
The college student blitzed a field of 19 finalists picked during the regional finals as she realised a lifetime dream.
She said after her triumph: “I’m so grateful and feel blessed to be given this opportunity to represent my country and pursue my dream at the same time.”
Fadzai dazzled the judges and the guests thanks to her stunning good looks, charm and elegance.
The preparations had been intense. For five days leading up to the final, the 19 finalists stayed in the Rainbow Hotel and were completely immersed in the modelling universe: makeovers, fittings, training, photo shoots and rehearsals.
During these few days, they shared a common dream: to follow in the footsteps of super models Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour and Gisele Bundchen who all started their modelling careers thanks to the Elite Model Look contest.
