SOUTH African DJs C’ndo and Lady Cream will inject a touch of Durban to the UK club scene this weekend with gigs in London and Coventry.
The house DJs, who arrived at Heathrow early Thursday, perform in Forest Gate, London, on Friday night before warming up Club Platinum in Coventry on Saturday.
The two women who are making it big in a male-dominated industry were in Bulawayo last week.
While C’ndo is already a household name in and outside South Africa, Lady Cream’s stock is on the rise. This year alone, Lady Cream has played in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique – and now the UK.
C’ndo, returning to the UK for the second time after touring in April, said: “I always look forward to performing for UK fans, they give a lot of energy back.
“I’ll be showcasing some new big house tunes coming out of South Africa. If you’re looking for a party, London and Coventry is where you catch us.”
