Arts Gallery opens exhibition of AIDS posters

The National Arts Gallery of Zimbabwe last week opened an exhibition entitled “A Round Solution” featuring AIDS posters and other campaign material from the fight against AIDS in different countries around the world.

Of note are some controversial posters from Switzerland that have started people talking…

^ This poster from Reunion reads: “If you cannot find a condom your size, you are an elephant.”

^ “If your past haunts your relationship, check-your-love.ch” (Switzerland)

^ “For you and for all, use it. With every new sexual relationship you take the risk of getting AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Think about everyone’s health and yours. Use a condom.” (Spain)

^ “Zero zero sex without condoms. AIDS is a reality. Be responsible.” (Mauritius)

^ “Condomator. Defeat AIDS at all costs.” (Mauritius)
