Tragic tots' mum pays tribute

A LESOTHO woman who found her two children strangled in their bedroom – allegedly by their Zimbabwean father -- spoke of her deep love for them on Friday.

Thirty-year-old Morongoe Molemohi, who lives in Manchester, England, said the youngsters had brought only joy and happiness in their short lives.

She said: "Both were polite, sharing, loud and creative. I thank them for the joy, happiness and fulfilment they brought.

"They have been my strength and hope. I love them very much and they will always be a beautiful part of me."

The Phd student, who works for a shipping company, found the lifeless bodies of Yolanda, four, and brother Theo, two, on Wednesday morning.

Her estranged husband Petros Mwashita, 37, was unconscious nearby after taking an overdose of preswcription pills. He has been arrested.

One tribute outside the home in Whalley Range, South Manchester, read: "For Mo, your precious angels will always be in our hearts."
