POLICE in Harare say they are investigating claims that a woman was kidnapped and held for eight hours during which two women SUCKLED at her breasts in what is thought to be a witchcraft practise.

Police say the 37-year-old was waiting for public transport into town from Highfield just after 11AM on July 31 when she was bundled into a black car with tinted windows – the beginning of eight hours of torment.

Spokesman Inspector James Sabau said the woman told detectives a strange substance was sprayed in her eyes and she passed out as the vehicle sped off to an unknown destination.

"She later gained consciousness and discovered that she was in a building filled with human heads," Inspector Sabau told the Herald newspaper.

“Two women in the building started sucking her breasts and spitting the milk into a container. But around 7PM, a man who appeared to be in charge ordered her release, saying the woman was ‘not fit for their purpose’ since she was breastfeeding.”

Police say along with a second woman she found at the house, the woman was dragged into a vehicle and dumped in Harare City Centre.

Police say the property where the women were held is likely in Harare, and investigations are in progress.

Police revealed recently they are investigating up to six incidents where men claim to have been kidnapped and raped by women, mainly in Masvingo and Gweru.
