A FATHER caught his wife and son locked in a steamy sex romp – then got the shock of his life when the pair continued as if he was not there.

On Tuesday, Shuvai Mudzingwa, 33, and her 18-year-old son, Michael, were beginning a three-year jail term each after admitting incest before a Gweru magistrate.

Prosecuting, Chipo Matshe told the court that the two lovebirds’ illicit affair was unravelled after they became reckless – romping on occasions while her husband and Michael’s two siblings slept nearby.

On July 11 this year, the court heard, Shuvai sneaked out of bed just after midnight – leaving her husband snoring away.

Their bedroom partitioned by just a curtain, she walked across to the other side of the room where Michael was sleeping next to his two younger brothers whose ages were not given in court.

“The two started making love and were caught in the act by Mr Mudzingwa when he woke up and lit a candle. Michael remained on top of his mother despite the fact that his father had woken up and lit the candle,” Matshe told magistrate Sithembinkosi Msipa.

The angry dad, the prosecutor said, had to pull Michael away from his mother.

But as soon as Mudzingwa, a gardener, left for work, the court heard they “took advantage of his absence to once again engage in sexual intercourse”.

Shuvai admitted in court to sleeping with her son on four occasions. She said the sex sessions with her son started when her husband deserted her and vowed never to return.
