THE CBZ Premiership took yet another unfamiliar look at the weekend when Motor Action and league debutants Kiglon joined the party in the top four.

Monomotapa stay top despite being inactive and Njube Sundowns -- also not in action -- maintained second place.

The Mighty Bulls displaced Highlanders after they beat Lengthens 1-0 on Saturday in Harare.

The Bulls now have 36 points from 24 matches while Kiglon moved into fourth with 35 points after defeating Chapungu 1-0.

Highlanders threw away a two-goal lead against Masvingo for their THIRTEENTH draw in 23 matches, and their fifth on the trot.

Douglas Zimbago hit a first half double in a space of five minutes at Mucheke before Masvingo pulled one back through Martin Vengesayi and Lloyd Hlahla completed the comeback, converting from the spot in the second half.

Masvingo now have 25 points and lie 13th – just a point from the relegation battle.

CAPS United and CAPS FC may have fought over a name, but they have more urgent business to deal with now after both slumped into the drop zone, CAPS FC bringing the rear.

United, in 15th position with 24 points from 22 matches, were inactive and can bank on their two games in hand which if won would see them climb to mid-table.

But after drawing 1-1 with Underhill on Saturday, CAPS FC have just six games to beat relegation.

Phillip Makanje’s double for Lancashire Steel against Shooting Stars saw the leap to 14th position with 24 points from the same number of games. They are in good stead to attack the teams just above them to avoid the chop.

Saturday:

Motor Action 1-0 Lengthens 0, Underhill 1-1 CAPS FC, Kiglon 1-0 Chapungu

Sunday:
Masvingo 2-2 Highlanders, Shooting Stars 1-2 Lancashire Steel
