| Malajila joins Dynamos
Posted
to the web: 13/03/2009 12:53:45 Malajila was on loan to Highlanders from Chapungu last season, scoring 16 goals. Highlanders failed to make the national team striker’s move permanent, and Dynamos swooped. After his first training session with Dynamos on Thursday, Malajila said: “I am excited to finally get a chance to play for Dynamos. It's every player's dream to play for Dynamos at one stage and I am excited. "I cannot promise much to the fans but as a striker my duty is to score goals, but I will not put myself under pressure to do well. "There are many strikers at the club with the duty to score goals and we should be able to deliver together so I will not be under any pressure because the burden will not be on me alone.” Malajila will find a familiar face at Dynamos – his former strike partner at Chapungu, Phillip Marufu. Dynamos hope he will compensate for the departure of Edward Sadomba who now plays for a Mozambican club. Dynamos also paraded their new signings Tongai Mangwendere (Lancashire), George Magariro and Milton Makopa (Masvingo), Nicholas Alifandika (Underhill), Gilbert Zulu (Hwange) and Merciful Ncube (Shabanie). Eddie Mashiri
returns from Caps United while the trio of Carrington Gomba, Mtshumayeli
Moyo and Thomas Sweswe have signed new contracts. |
