Dear
George: our readers address Mugabe's minion
PRESIDENT Robert Mugabe's spokesman George Charamba attacked New Zimbabwe.com last week over our scoop revealing that State Security Minister Nicholas Goche and Local Government Minister Ignatius Chombo were under investigation in the on-going spy probe. He warned New Zimbabwe.com of "serious consequences". Naturally, we reject his criticism and interference, and our readers are fully behind us! We reproduced some of your comments below. You can send your comments to newsdesk@newzimbabwe.com Editor - Keep up the good work of informing us, irrespective of whether Charamba likes it or not! He can control ZimPapers but not you as well. Besides, he wants the doomed Professor's job, hence the ruthless campaign. Shingai U.K Editor - Ndinomuziva kubva kuchikoro mukanwa haana. He always does that l always rebuke him. Anyway thats what he is. Let's just forgive and forget him, not him only, but with his crew. Don't get surprised with what those guys are doing. They killed lots of people, you cannot make a difference between them and the killer Tsunami. Now the blood of those that they killed is still speaking -- starting from the blood of Chitepo to Border Gezi. What do you expect from a person ane ngozi ya Tongogara J, and Gezi B. George NYARARA IZVI ZVAVE ZVEVAMAZUVA ANO. NDINI SAHWIRA WAKO MUSONZA B. Editor - Wena Charamba
hambuyekufa n** ndini. This is the calibre
of a president's spokesman and no doubt about it: The President deserves
him! Editor - Esintwini
kuthiwa ungayizwa isikhala kakhulu isizadabuka.... the same goes
for these hooligans who are leading Zim. They have lost focus and surely
are trying to put the blame on anything that they can blame. Editor - I support
the role you are playing Mr Editor. Charamba and his Department of Misinformation
should be told to sling their hooks and It Is their party in turmoil and not Zimbabwe. Zimbabwean people have had enough of these Muppets and so don't be shoved around by an old school "Cde" salvaging a sinking boat wrecked by a Tsunami wave. I urge you to keep reporting fearlessly as you have always done. The spygate saga
is an issue every Zimbabwean has a primordial right to If you run an opinion survey for your readers on this issue - the support will be immense and unprecedented and in any case the intra or factional fight for the top office seems to be getting out of control and so we can't afford to be caught off guard for the sake of our country, in the event of a power vacuum. Charamba should
know that if information is over suppressed the next thing is speculative
and grapevine, followed by a roallercoaster of uncontrollable forces
of nature. Editor - I sincerely hope that New Zimbabwe.com will not be intimidated by the likes of Charamba into submission. Charamba wants to treat us like mushrooms - i.e. kept in the dark and fed on manure. The news about Goche and Chombo was a huge scoop! Those of us who were students in the USA in the early and mid '80s when Goche was a diplomat in Washington DC heard, albeit on the grapevine, that blaz was dealing in State secrets. Don't be intimidated
by a bankrupt despotic regime bent on holding on to Editor - Ignore
Charamba. Editor - Charamba
should learn a lesson from the past and most recently what happenned
to his ex-boss or whatever Prof. Moyo.... the regime he serves is so
evil that it bites even those who shower it with praises. After using
one, it either shamelessy ditch them or eliminate them in one way or
another. He should be busy contemplating his own fate at the moment.
Is he the next victim after the Professor. Charamba should
know that the days of plantations are over, we have been taken for a
ride for a long time and enough is enough. We want this paper to tell
them that now we refuse to be what they want us to be, we are what we
are thats the way its going to be. They built enough papers to control
not this one.Umsebenzi awuqhutswhe madoda baze bayangeke. Editor - They closed
the Daily News and thought they had done a good job. Unfortunately Charamba
is not smart enough to tame technology. Chinja your evil ways!
This is the 21st century and Charamba is still residing in edges of
darkness. There is no chance for these guys this time they have been
getting away with their tricks for too long. Newzim we are behind you
guys expose these embeciles big time, put fear in them tell the world
about their evil ways. BIG UP NEWZIMBABWE.COM. Peace. Editor - I applaud
the work New Zimbabwe.com is doing in conjuction with other sites in
keeping us updated with the news as it is happening in our once beautifull
country. Charamba has no right to voice over Newzimbabwe, I'm sure there
is a lot of work to do with the state-run Zanu PF propaganda Herald.
Hands-off our site Charamba! Editor - I thank
you for the opportunity for us to address Charamba .We as Zimbabweans
in the Diaspora ought to tell him that we shall and I repeat we shall
not be intimidated by war vets .If he wants he can come and meet us
at the airport (Gatwick ).
Editor - What Charamba
should know is that if you suppress the media you are dangerous and
you got something to hide. Now Charamba you are trying to gain Mafikizolo's
place by talking rubbish to our informative news website. Please leave
this news website alone, you cannot fool us anymore -- that a donkey
has got horns. We all went to school and know the difference between
truth and lies; fake and genuine. What are you howling about Mr Charamba.
After all, you are denying taxpayers the right to know what is happening
in your circus government. That is why the beloved country ZIMBABWE
is gone to the dogs. People like Charamba are happy when they misinform
the public. Good luck secretary of misinfornation -- -- BUT REMEMBER
IN FRONT OF GOD WE ARE THE THE SAME AND THE JUDGEMENT DAY SHALL COME.
Editor - Charamba
needs to go back to school he should be ashamed of himself anofanira
kusiya chidofo chaave kuda kuita!!! Editor - They are
all evil and should all have been swept away. I wish i could send one
to state house!! LIFE IS NOT FAIR. Editor - Someone
should tell the good doctor that New Zimbabwe.com does not fall under
Zimbabwe's jurisdiction, moresore Mugabe's. If that does not send the
looney spokesman back to Munhumutapa building with his tail tucked between
his tail, then how about reminding him that Zimbabweans are sick and
tired of empty rhetoric bordering on the insane and the ridiculous. As a law student I can assure you there is no serious consequences attached to the publication of the ministers involved in the spy racket.Charamba is a man with an expired vision, who is confused by the mental abuse and trauma he gets from the massacre government. Any sane person would help me congratulate you in naming and shaming the ministers involved. Well done New Zimbabwe.com,
Happy New Year & keep up the good work Editor - George
Charamba should be reminded that the torture of suspects by the CIO
in the current espionage case involving Chiyangwa, Karidza and others
is contrary to the rule of law in Zimbabwe. We expected him to assure
the nation that allegations of torture will be investigated. The nation
is worried that the suspects have been denied their constitutional rights
to say their side. NewZimbabwe.com is providing the forum for people
to say out their views about the case. Let Chombo and Goche speak for themselves about their alleged involvement in the espionage case as you have wanted Moyo to respond to his punishment from the ZANU PF regime over the Tsholotsho debacle. NewZimbabwe.com
should not fear the hand of the unknown, for there is nothing that Charamba
can do to you, since he is not allowed to pass through either Gatwick
or Heathrow. At least the written word is not a threat to national security
and sovereignty. It's surprising that the MDC has always been labelled
as championing imperialist interests, when there are people who are
paid every I have rested my
case but Charamba cannot tell papers what to or not to publish. Editor - A mad man,
just ignore him. He has always been like that and offers nothing new.
Keep up your excellent work. |
