THIS is the shocking image that proves Zimbabwean Big Brother babe Makosi Musambasi has something for the ladies (see video, please note it's a girl-on-girl snog and some people may find it distasteful).

The 24-year-old daughter of a retired policeman and a newspaper typesetter gets stuck in a steamy 30-second full-on kiss with Brit Samantha, followed by wild laughter from both.

Described by her dad, Rich, as a "nice girl who will not do anything bad", Makosi has thrown caution to the wind in the British reality TV show, leading a rebellion against the African conservative values.

Her mum, Sennie Musambasi, nee Mathuthu, is a devout Christian from Zimbabwe's rural outpost of Filabusi in Matabeleland South. She is employed as a typesetter at the weekly Zimbabwe Independent newspaper in Harare.

She refuses to comment on her daughter's Big Brother antics.

Since entering Big Brother House three weeks ago, Makosi has walked around in the nude; claimed she was a virgin although later proved to be false; admitted a lesbian romp with a girl aged 12 and gave a fellow housemate a blow job.

The former Roosevelt Girls High School student, a fashion enthusiast and beauty pageant-fanatic, came to the UK in 2001 and studied to be a nurse in Luton before joining an NHS hospital in nearby High Wycombe as a cardiac nurse.

Friends say becoming a nurse was out of character, possibly a measure to get legal status in the UK while pursuing her dream in fashion and modelling.

"She sees Big Brother as her big break and she will milk it as long as it lasts," a pal said. "Whatever happens from now, Makosi is on the roll because she is evidently the most marketable person in that show."

Patience Muzanenhamo-Lusengo of Noir Models agency in South Africa which is actively involved in Miss Zimbabwe USA and Miss Zimbabwe UK said: "Makosi knows how to play it. I like her risk-taking and if I could sign her, I would jump to the opportunity."

Her former boyfriend and boss, business mogul Phillip Chiyangwa told New Zimbabwe.com: "I think Makosi has a game plan and she will stick to it. She has the drive, and I should know."

However, Chiyangwa is less pleased with her antics.

"I hear she was giving someone a blow job," said Chiyangwa. "If that's the case, then what remains of that person's dignity? What do you become in society? I was of the view that this is a gameshow which shouldn't be taken seriously, but when such things happen, and you have some things being said, people's lives can be wrecked.

Before her snog with Samantha, Makosi had told housemates: "Not to say that I'm bisexual, but if a woman said they fancied me, I would think about it. I would not say 'yuck' because I've done it before and if anything, it's more intense with a woman than with a man. But I'm definitely not a lesbian."

But then what do you call a woman who makes love to other women Makosi?
