British hit reality show heads for Africa

By Staff Reporter

COCKY Zimbabwean nurse Makosi Musambasi fought back tears as she was voted out by the public on the final day of the sixth edition of UK reality TV show - Big Brother.

The 24-year-old nurse was hot favourite to win the show but went down in the public's estimation after an unprotected sex romp with a housemate and revelations she was an actress.

Overall, Makosi came third while Eugene was on second and Anthony declared winner.

As she left the Big Brother house to face the waiting crowds, Makosi looked momentarily stunned as she was roundly booed.

When she spoke toi Big Brother host Davina McCall, she had to raise her voice to the rising heckles and chants of "liar, liar" from the crowd.

She however, looked composed when she finally found her stride.

Big Brother followers say the animosity was unprecedented, and as she continued with her conversation, the crowds yelled: "off, off, off, off" at Makosi.

"Rowdy crowds are nothing new on finale nights, but the booing tonight was unprecedented," one Big Brother observer said.

Talking to Davina, Makosi said she had no regrets about her behaviour on the show, or her two faced tactics which could have ultimately cost her the winning prize of £50 000.

"I was born a drama queen. Drama follows me, I don't follow it," she said.

On whether she really thought she was pregnant, she answered unconvincingly: "I did." The crowd began a chant of "liar" in loud unison.

On whether she really had sex: "Well I was drunk."

She added: "I was drunk, Anthony was drunk, nobody will never really know what happened in that pool."
