ZIMBABWE'S Kudzai Sevenzo has been voted out of M-Net's hit reality television show Project Fame.

The young, feisty travel agent was Zimbabwe's representative on the South African television show -- an imitation of the British hit reality TV series Fame Academy.

Kudzai who is 25-years-old loses out on the R900 000 big prize and music recording contract.

Kudzai's boyfriend Maimba travelled to watch her on her final day.

"I have been missing her man, so I just had to put together some money and come for her," Maimba told Project Fame online.

Maimba told Kudzai that her stay had been worthwhile.

"She made us proud and was an inspiration to many. I cannot put blame on her because she was exemplary," said Maimba as he was reunited with his loved one for the first time in eight weeks.

Maimba also revealed his fears since Kudzai went into the Academy. "I was afraid I was gonna lose her. Many people would come to me and tell me to forget about her. At a certain point I had almost believed them but I was still so much in love to forget. So I waited and after watching her on TV for quite some time, all my fears were squashed," said Maimba, who has been going out with Kudzai for a year-and-a-half now.

Maimba adds that their relationship is still maturing and they would like to wait before they consider marriage. He promises to support Kudzai in all her career prospects.

On the other hand, Kudzai revealed in her live chat on Monday that she is more than content with her current boyfriend. In the chat, a poster calling herself Boundless asked her: "Hey, Kudzai, I saw your boyfriend on TV. Don't you think you could do better? I think you can do better." Kudzai then replied: "I think my boyfriend is quite a dish! Funny, nobody has ever questioned my taste: you're the first! Out of interest, are you a woman or a man?"

"I am a woman girl and deep in your heart, I know you know what this sister is talking about! Any marriage plans on the cards?" quizzed Boundless. "I can't believe you're a woman! I thought you were some dude trying his luck. I do intend to get married one day. Girl, I know you know he's a dish!" replied Kudzai.

We think that he's lucky to have a dish like Kudzai. Big up to Maimba.
