PHILLIP Chiyangwa last night blasted Big Brother loser Makosi Musambasi as a "very sad liar" who would do anything for fame.

Chiyangwa -- who dated Makosi for two years -- has previously defended the former cardiac nurse when she was criticised for having unprotected sex and engaging in lesbian kissing orgies on British television.

The flashy businessman said he was hurt by "a stream of lies" by the Big Brother contestant after she claimed he had flown to London and was stalking her.

The Home Office will make a decision on Makosi's deportation appeal on October 20, after immigration authorities said she had breached her visa by going on the show and quitting her nursing job.

An irate Chiyangwa told New Zimbabwe.com: "That girl phoned me and I thought I could pull her leg by telling her I was in London. She believed, and it appears she thought she could pull another stunt by hooking up with the paparazzi to pitch up and photograph us together.

"She phoned me, sent text messages and even went to the extent of calling my daughter who is in there in England trying to fix an appointment.

"Of course I was never in London. She is just a sad liar."

Makosi told the London Evening Standard that Chiyangwa had flown to London and wanted them to get back together. She claimed she had snubbed him.

"He is over here at the moment, and he keeps texting and stalking me," Makosi, 25 this week, told the Evening Standard.

Chiyangwa said it was impossible for him to be in London because of travel restrictions on current and former Zimbabwe government officials. Although he has been removed from the European Union travel sanctions list, Britain has been known to block entry to President Robert Mugabe's supporters as happened to former Bulawayo mayor Joshua Malinga. Chiyangwa is Mugabe's cousin.

"She can see her star is on the wane and now she wants to drag me into her business and turn me into some pawn in order to excite the British tabloids. She has turned me into an object of abuse, and I really don't think its fair," Chiyangwa said.

Makosi has declined an interview with New Zimbabwe.com.

She told the Evening Standard that she was now dating a premiership footballer based somewhere in Birmingham, although the footballer has declined to be seen in public with her until after her 25th birthday this week. British newspapers and internet chatrooms say it could be a ploy to beat deportation from Britain.

"He saw me on TV and asked the production company to give him my mobile number," Makosi said of the footballer. "He is English and a premiership football player. He fancies me so much. He really doesn't want me to go. He says he'll appear in public with me after my birthday when I turn 25."

Makosi says if she is deported from Britain she fears physical attacks on Zimbabwe's streets. She also claimed her retired policeman father and desktop publisher mother have received threats from furious Zimbabweans angered by her odd antics in Big Brother.

"When I was on TV, I thought I would be okay, I can wear a big hat and a wig and sunglasses and no-one would recognise me. When I finally go home to see my family, now I seriously think I might be stoned for what I did.

"I went to an all girls mission school where 50 of us had to sleep in one giant dorm. We had to go to church every morning at 5.30am, bathed in cold water in a bucket and we were not allowed any contact with the boys. In Zimbabwe, women are supposed to be virgins when they get married. But men can have as many wives as they want. My grandfather had 15. I don't want that but I was naughty, I used to sneak off to meet boys and when I got caught I was expelled. Even today my dad doesn't know I kiss.

"At home, everyone makes decisions for you. I needed to get out. I couldn't wait to live by myself and wear the shortest skirt.

"I have a physical side to me, and there is a soul. My soul is what has a relationshinship with God. Adam and Eve were naked at creation. Why should boobs on TV mean anything sexual? Why should my boobs on television mean anything sexual?"
