| Makosi shoots down abortion rumours By
Mduduzi Mathuthu Makosi, 25, told New Zimbabwe.com Tuesday that she will NOT abort the unborn baby. She said: "I spoke to my mum about this (pregnancy) for the first time on Monday, and she was shocked by reports suggesting I want to make an abortion. "The claims in the News of the World that I am considering an abortion were apparently made by people claiming to be my friends. Now tell me, is there a friend who would go to a newspaper and say something like that?" According to a friend quoted in the News of the World Sunday, the former cardiac nurse was said to be "agonising whether to keep the child". But Makosi hit back last night, insisting she was keeping her baby and any suggestions otherwise were untrue. She has so far declined to reveal the identity of the unborn baby's secret father. Makosi said: "I am indeed pregnant and I have to be careful because there is now someone involved here -- my unborn baby." The troubled star who recently admitted her shame at selling sex to pay off her debts claimed asylum in the UK following an attempt to deport her. Authorities said she had breached her visa by going into Big Brother, and her nursing association kicked her out of the profession for allegedly having unprotected sex on live TV. Makosi is currently
trying TV presenting, and has made a few paid showbiz appearences. |
