British hit reality show heads for Africa

BUSTY Zimbabwean Big Brother babe Makosi Musambasi has dated President Robert Mugabe's cousin Phillip Chiyangwa, it was claimed Monday.

Cardiac nurse, Musambasi, 24, volunteered to take part in the British reality TV show and claims to be a virgin.

However, Sunday newspapers in Britain appeared to blow holes into her story with revelations she dated polygamous Chiyangwa for TWO YEARS.

"Makosi got caught up in Mugabe's murky world when she had a fling with his married nephew (Correction: Chiyangwa is in fact Mugabe's cousin)," The Daily Mirror newspaper reported Monday, featuring Makosi in revealing swim wear on its front page.

The paper was repeating revelations made by the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper which told how Makosi was smitten with Chiyangwa, who has two wives.

"She believed he loved her more than his wives and didn't care they were having an affair. The wives and everyone knew," a family friend was quoted as saying in the paper.

Makosi, according to the paper, ended the two-year relationship when she started dating a doctor working at the same hospital as her in High Wycombe, just outside London.

New Zimbabwe.com can also reveal Makosi's mum works at the Zimbabwe Independent newspaper in Harare, while her dad is a retired policeman forced out of her job for allegedly handing information to the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).

Makosi's mum hails from the south-western district of Filabusi in Matabeleland South, while the dad who has Mozambican origins has lived and worked in Harare. Dad Rich, a former police chief inspector, resigned out of "frustration" after he was ordered to arrest more opposition members, according to the Mirror.

Makosi who entered the Big Brother House last Friday could be evicted this week. She was tagged the 'unlucky' 13th contestant by Big Brother, and set a secret mission to drive the other housemates up the wall. On Tuesday, the housemates will be aked to nominate a candidate for eviction and Makosi should get the majority vote if she is to be immune from eviction.
