BIG
BROTHER: YOUR SHOUTS! |
|||||||||||||||||
| Shamed by Makosi's nude act?
The following is a selection of your comments on new pictures from Big Brother house showing Makosi in the nude Editor - As a Zimbabwean I really feel ashamed of what this woman has put her self into. We can say this woman has reduced herself to a mere loose idiot. Makosi has put all Zimbawean women to shame Honestly how is she going to walk on the streets of Harare after so recklessly exposing her body all in the name of fame? Dai kurikwedu taimutaka nematombo ndicho chinonzi chihure at its best/worst. .I hope she is
booted out and sacked from her job and deported to Kandahir, Afghanistan,
where she can learn morals. Editor - How low
can one go? Naked on live television, very sad! Editor - I do agree
with you that Makosi's behaviour - baring her body to all and sundry
- is culturally shameful, especially to real Zimbabweans; not to those
fake Zimbos, Zimbas or whatever they call themselves. But at the same
time, Makosi (what does that name mean anyway?) is an adult who can
make her own choices. When she comes out of Big Brother she will have
her own version of the once popular song.... "Amai nababa musandicheme
kana NDASHAMA patelevision. Ndini ndakazvida kuenda ku Big Brother Pamwe
chete ne ngochani!" Editor - You are
right to denounce Makosi's lack of morality. But why then do you display
that filth? I go to your site because I am concerned about your country
and find your work to be a good source of news. I am disturbed when
I open your site and you are displaying what amounts to a pornographic
picture. Surely, you should have better taste than this woman! Editor - I have been following with interest the articles from your readers who are crying foul left right and centre. Your readers should understand that this is a survival game and to survive you have to do what lovely Makosi is doing. She has to be the bad girl in order to be nominated, and as a result of the nominations she survives. Your website is spreading hatred about her to everyone and when nomination time comes she remains in, hooray!!! Keep up the good
work editor.
Editor - I was disgusted and ashamed to see a semi-naked picture of Makosi. What has happened to our dignity and morals that we women of Zimbabwe uphold. She is a disgrace to the women of Zimbabwe and the country as a whole. How desparate can one be for money! You have to work your way through in life, Makosi needs to learn that. There are no short cuts in life and should she choose that route. Ma zimbo maaipa
manje, kuri kuda mari chete, shame! Editor - I think
the picture you have published today exonerates you from all those that
called you a glorified village headboy! Mangwana can you put
the matter to rest by publishing the one where she was putting on her
panties in front of the camera!!! Editor - What Filth?
What society? I am ferociously disgusted by the way you portray Makosi,
especially your article showing her bare torso. This is 'television'
and this is British Television lest you forget that. There is nothing
filthy about seeing a woman's bare torso especially one as well endowed
as hers. In fact I grew in Zimbabwe and have seen worse than that though
not on 1. She showed that
Zimbabweans are go-getters they achieve whatever their I challenge you
to write an article not redeeming yourself but praising Editor - Hatshi
Mathuthu, Uqinisile wena. Singavumeli ihlazo. Lihlazo leli. Baqondise
abantu. Editor - She is our pride and she is a girl of no pretence. Zimbabweans let's support one of ours. I hope next year's Big Brother will have two or more Zimba's. Let's vote for her and I bet she should survive for a reasonable weeks in Big Brother or in the end be the winner. To those people who accuse her of going out with married man, it is Phillip Chiyangwa's fault, why did he ask her out if he is married? About what she did at college, it's a jelous next door neighbour. So please guys leave
Makosi alone she is a great woman with confidence and at least high
self esteem. The best you can do now for her is support her. Murandakadzi
Mwanawevhu Editor - I only would like to let you know that some of us are level headed not open minded to the point of condoning such behaviours especially against the background that we grew up in a cultured environment. Ladies and gentlemen tell me, does one need to be naked for it to be called entertainment? I am completely against what our dear sister is doing and gathering all the information that I have read about her, I can only conclude that she is such a fame solicitor. When people are not satisfied with how they look and what they have accomplished, they tend to do strange (strange in the sense that, this has never happened in our country) things. She is trying as best as she possibly can to get identity. If it's money, then I think one`s dignity is worth more than a trillion dollars.Well I don't have any problem if the British people would beg to differ on my our opinions against what this Makosi sister is doing because they don't understand it. They grew up in an environment where a woman`s body is just like a tree. I think some of
our Zim brothers are hitting hard on you editor because all they want
to see is Makosi`s naked body and oppossing this is spoiling their fun.
On a serious note i am very certain they would disagree with this "fame
girl". Editor - How are
you? We have been outraged and horrified by Makosi's lies and pretentious
attitude on Big Brother. She is an embarassment to Editor - After you
have covered a dozen stories on Phill Chiyangwa all of a sudden it's
an issue that he is polygamous just because you are trying to slate
Makosi.....Leave the girl alone and let her be. How many polygamous
people exist in Zimbabwe? At least Makosi is in the running for a £100000
while the rest of us just have to get on with our miserable lives wishing
we had the guts to enter the Big Brother contest. Editor - Personally
I don't see the reason why people should be jealous of Makosi's success.
She is responsible for her own actions after all its her life. She wants
to be on TV thats fine, I say to anyone who disapproves: GET A LIFE
OF YOUR OWN , AND LEAVE THE POOR GAL ALONE ! Editor - It is not Zimbabwean culture to be nude in public and on national television. This gold-digger is giving a wrong impression about our dignified, hard-working and intelligent Zimbabwean women. I would like to remind the shallow minded Bumpeesha and Fikile (from previous Shouts!) that this is a witty game, and not a monkey game. We do not want
to be represented by such a vile pig like Makosi. I think we should
stop talking about this minger as Roberto refers to her. I am receiving
emails from my workmates all over the world, asking if I know this stupid
girl and they want me to justify her behaviour and if all women from
Zimbabwe are mentally sick like Makosi. Anyone who supports this kind
of behaviour is not a Zimbabwean, period. Editor - What you
are doing is exactly the same as Makosi, look how popular you have become
Editor - Your comment
on Makosi was not too bad and not too good. She is depicting what most
Zimbabweans do here in the UK, however given her situation she may be
justified to act the way she is doing to save her soul. Surprisingly,
even before she was given that task, 37 minutes in the BB house she
was the first to go nearly naked-was she so hot? I also thought she
really was a virgin - alas! Do you think a man like Chiyangwa can love
you for two good years and leave you as a virgin? Even the most holy
priest can eat the forbidden fruit if Makosi's beauty is at his disposal.
Above all, Makosi is my icon, she is full of confidence, well done Makosi! Editor - I would
like to commend you for a job well done on exposing our self righteous
Makosi. Besides bringing shame to the name Zimbabwe, she has also brought
utter disgust to her family name, alas thank goodness her family is
not ashamed. Real Zimbabweans are reserved and do not take part in such
acts, what is next, stripping? I sure hope that some behaviours are
not going to be taken back to Zimbabwe. I believe wise Zimbabweans in
the diaspora are on the verge of earning useful knowledge and skills
that can be implemented in the rebuiding of the country other than works
of shame. I wait for a day that I can see a Zimbabwean on a programme
like Alan Sugar's The Apprentice, The Dragon's Den
and programmes of that nature. Indeed I would support that individual
to the end. I have nothing to say to Makosi but to you editor I say
good work and keep up the standards. You know your roots. Editor - What have
we done to deserve this vulgar, irritating girl in our midst when we
have better things to focus our attention on like the current state
of our wonderful country? She is a disgraceful, money-hungry, husband-grabbing,
attention-seeking individual in whom I see no reason to be proud of
as she is not doing me or our country any justice. I LOATHE THE SHOW
ANYWAY BUT THE MINDLESS MASSES THAT SURROUND ME SEEM TO THINK IT IS
WONDERFUL! |
