| Zimbabwe online shop breaks new ground
By
Business Reporter Directors of a Zimbabwean online shopping website think they have found the answer to your frustrations. Zimland.com, owned by UK-based Zimbabwean entreprenuer Never Ndemera allows Zimbabweans living across the globe to order groceries which are delivered straight to the doorstep of intended recipients in Zimbabwe. The range of goods on sale varies from the Cobra floor polish, candles, onions right through to Lifebouy soap. Ndemera told New Zimbabwe.com: "It's a novel idea and essentially, it's designed to help Zimbabweans working abroad to help their families in Zimbabwe. "There is the obvious inescapable reality of HIV/Aids related deaths in families and Zimland hopes to provide an easy way for people living abroad to order groceries to help the berieved. "It's supposed
to take away that hussle of pressurised shopping, or having to check
if the money you sent will be used to buy the required essentials,"
he said. |
