ZIMBABWE'S polygamous central bank governor Gideon Gono, fathered an illegitimate child with the radiant former television personality Nanette Silukhuni, New Zimbabwe.com can reveal.

Gono, who is married to wife, Hellin, has been dating former Miss Zimbabwe, Brita Masalethulini whom he is the process of customarily marrying.

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe chief is said to be paying maintainance for his four-year-old daughter.

Silukhuni is now customarily married to Local Government Minister, Ignatius Chombo. She was forced to make the admission in court papers last year after the minister's wife, Marian, instituted a $2 billion lawsuit against him for adultery.

Silukhuni, a former presenter and news reader on Zimbabwe's state television has dated some of Zimbabwe's richest businessmen and celebrities, including the late businessman, Roger Boka.

A friend told New Zimbabwe.com that Silukhuni had been looking after her four-year-old daughter, the product of secret trysts with Gono while he was the chief executive officer at the Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe, now Jewel Bank.

“Cases of this nature normally come out when single mothers start complaining due to lack of financial support, but Nanette is well taken care of and can’t complain,” said a friend this week.

She added: “Nanette has an eye for the rich and famous. He started the game with Boka when she was a final year student at the Harare Polytechnic. Everyone who studied journalism with her knows about her affair with the late businessman as it was at times a matter for debate in class."

Hot-pants Gono is known to buy his girlfriends expensive gifts. Despite his busy schedule trying to rescue Zimbabwe's currency and arrest run-away inflation, Gono has found time for the ladies much to the agony of his suffering wife.

Gono did not immediately return phone calls and requests for comment.
