ZIMBABWE'S annual inflation rate vaulted to an all-time high of 913,6% in March after accelerating 782% in February, the Central Statistics office said on Friday.

February’s reading was the previous record for the consumer price index (CPI).

On a monthly basis, the index rose by 19,8%, slowing from 27,5% in February.

Zimbabwe’s inflation rate is the highest in the world, according to the International Monetary Fund.
