TS RECORDS pulled yet another cat out of their bag at the South African Music Awards Saturday night by scooping the two biggest awards on the night for the FOURTH year in a row.

Their methods have not been popular with other artists (TS Records executive DJ Sbu has been accused of using his YFM show to solicit for votes), but they keep getting the public vote.

On Sunday it was Afropop sensation Ntando Bangani's turn as he scooped the Most Popular Artist and Most Popular Song of the Year awards for the single, Dali Wami contained in his new album, Imvelaphi.

The two awards are voted by the public.

Mzekezeke scooped the two awards in 2003 and 2004, and stablemate Brown Dash did his own double last year.

Ntando's night of triumph surprised many who were tipping Malaika's Muntuza or Spikiri's Current for the Most Popular Song of the Year.

Jazz singer Judith Sephuma was the biggest winner on the night with three awards, including Best Female Artist for her album New Beginnings.

New revelation, Brickz, struggled to make it to the podium as he was named winner in the Best Kwaito Album and Best Newcomer categories for his debut album, Face-Brick.

His producer, DJ Cleo hopped to the stage to aid his man who was an emotional wreck.
