ONCE beaten twice shy, they say.

Warriors head coach Charles Mhlauri is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for the crucial African Cup of Nations qualifier match against giants Morocco in March next year.

The former AmaZulu and CAPS United mentor has recalled veteran striker Peter Ndlovu for the friendly match against Namibia on November 15 at Rufaro Stadium.

Mhlauri named an enlarged squad with 18 foreign-based players who are expected for the tie which falls under the Fifa calendar.

Former Highlanders defender, Noel Kaseke, now based in Cyprus, has been given the opportunity to prove his mettle.

The thorough approach came after the Warriors lost their opening group match to Malawi 1-0 in Blantyre last month.

Mhlauri said Tuesday: "Ndlovu has always been part of the team. He only failed to come for the Malawi match because he was injured. I have also retained players like Charles Yohanne and Edzai Kasinauyo because I believe they still have a lot to contribute to the team.

"Unless I have been advised otherwise, Edzai and Charles will come for national duty because I don't believe they are playing in lower divisions in South Africa because they have become poor players. It's more to do with financial benefits."
