He has also launched an online video dance competition to promote his new single.

Tu Short real name Lamont Chitepo is not new on the music scene and will be remembered for his songs such as Ndiwe Mufaro and Teresa.

In his pre-official video production work for his latest offing, Tu Short has put out a competition via social media tagged ‘Maiwe dance challenge’ in respect of this same song.

"All those who wish to participate in this challenge have been sending their videos via what's app to the selection line 0447470481640.

“The last day of video competition submission is 15 August 2015; so the competition is on!

“The artist is pleased with the current response from competitors and the Afro Twin dancers have set the pace," said his publicist, Michael Chipato.

The dance challenge will be held mainly on Keda TV, a Facebook platform that allows Zimbabweans to share videos and interact.

The winner will be determined by the amount of likes one gets as well as how good or entertaining their dance piece is.

In return, winner will be awarded a price of £100 and a chance to feature in the main music video which will be shot this summer.

Tu Short started his music career in 1998 with a hip hop group called D.O.P. He later converted to Christianity and in 2012 started recording gospel songs such as Walk With You among others.
