Top DJ ... Eric Knight

THE Free To Worship 5 Year Milestone Celebrations Concert is a few days away.

The Concert will be held at the Centre for Carnival Arts in Luton on the 24th of October 2015 in Bedfordshire.

Organisers said they are pleased to announce Econet as one of their official sponsors. Econet has recently entered into a partnership with Chitoro.

This relationship allows diaspora clients to send money to family and friends directly into their Zim EcoCash wallet using Chitoro money transfer service. The service is safe, secure, fast and convenient at affordable rates.

ECONET will be offering special transfer rates at the Concert to those that will register on the night.

Registration is free and once registered, one’s registration number/ ticket will be automatically entered into a Raffle.

The winning ticket will receive £100 to transfer to Zimbabwe using the Chitoro money service on the night.

The Concert is also full of surprises.

Eric Knight, polled on online radio to be the greatest Zimbabwean DJ of all time, is the named presenter for this upcoming Free To Worship Concert.

Eric will be joined by Mamoyo Bee Mufamba as co- presenter. Bee, the BEFFTA nominee for radio personality of the year 2015, called the upcoming event “the biggest UK gospel concert of this year”.

Miss Diaspora UK Queen, Cleopatra Mugadza, has been confirmed as one of the performers on the night. She is one of the newly found group members.

Cleopatra said: “People have a misconception about church, they think church is boring, however at the concert, it shall be evident that this is not so”.

Organisers also said they were “overwhelmed” by the support they have received from celebrities and companies, both in the UK and in Zimbabwe.

Tawanda Sarireni, the Production Manager, said: “This goes to demonstrate that hard work is always rewarded, this journey has not been easy but the concert will mark five years of resoluteness and resilience.”

Sarireni paid special tribute to Goldsmith Personnel, Rose of Sharon Care Services, Chiltern Support & Housing, Safe Hands Live In Care and Veneka for also sponsoring the Spreading of the word of God through music.

The Free To Worship group has been Nominated for Best Gospel Act BEFFTA 2015.

Obert Mazivisa, who is the Brand Ambassador for Diaspora Funeral Cash Plan, is expected to perform the acclaimed 'Baba we are waiting' at the concert. Diaspora Funeral Cash Plan is also one of the sponsors of this great event.

Rehearsals have been underway and the team Music Director Aaron Manatsa promised fireworks and urged the fans to bring their dancing shoes.

He also emphasised that “it is not just museve, or just a night to remember, but a life changing event”.
