MAKOSI Musambasi could star in Britain’s final Big Brother starting later this month – if British newspapers and bloggers are to be believed.
Big Brother Ultimate Champion will bring the curtain down on what was once Britain’s most viewed television programme before ratings took a knock.
TV bosses say they want to bring back the show’s “most colourful characters” from the 11 seasons of Big Brother – sparking frenzied speculation from UK tabloids over the select 12 ex-housemates who will vie for the £250,000 prize and title of Big Brother Ultimate Champion.
Makosi was one of the stars of Big Brother 6, eventually coming third.
The Guardian newspaper speculates that Makosi, along with his ex-housemate Science, Nikki Grahame, Kinga, Eugene and Brian Belo are all under consideration.
Makosi, who once claimed to have had sex in the pool with housemate Anthony, appears popular with UK audiences because of her unpredictability.
Blogger Mof Gimmers from TV Scoop wrote: “Apparently, former winners Brian Dowling, Kate Lawler and Cameron Stout have all rejected approaches from producers.
“Who cares about the hideous Kate Lawler? Get Spiral back in with his feet-curling raps! Get Makosi in so she can be impregnated by the diary room chair!”
The show’s creative director Phil Edgar-Jones told The Sun newspaper: “It’s a bittersweet moment with Big Brother ending, but the Ultimate Champion will ensure we end on a high. As well as finding fans’ favourite housemate, it will also be a trip down memory lane as they discuss experiences in the house.
“It will be a nostalgic treat for people who love the show and remind us why it was so great. Some old faces have been asking for weeks if we’re bringing them back.”
The two-week Ultimate Big Brother event will go on TV after the end of Big Brother 11, starting August 24. There will be no evictions, with the public voting on the final day for the Big Brother Ultimate Champion.
