ZIMBABWEAN Big Brother Africa star Munyaradzi Chidzonga, after surviving eviction recently, described himself as a ‘Diamond Boy’.
This week, he may as well declare himself King of the Castle.
Munya, a survivor of SEVEN nominations in the 10 week-run of the current Big Brother All Stars series, was untouchable this week as he finally took his turn to be Head of the House.
As Head of the House, Munya calls the shots on who gets nominated. So when he along with Uti (Nigeria), Mwisho (Tanzania), Kaone (Botswana) got the same number of nominations leaving Meryl (Namibia) -- the only woman in the house -- safe, Munya was summoned to the diary room.
Meryl knew what was coming, telling Munya as he walked off: "It's okay baby. Let it be."
Would he save himself or switch with Meryl, Big Brother asked? It was a no-brainer, and three minutes later, the Zimbabwean was confirmed as the only housemate who is safe this week.
Uti, Mwisho, Kaone and Meryl will battle it out in a popularity contest ahead of eviction night on Sunday, with Munya finding himself in a uniquely privileged position and a sure bet to make the last four, down from 14 housemates when the M-Net show – broadcast across Africa on Dstv – started back on July 18.
