ZIMBABWE’S Munyaradzi Chidzonga was congratulated for a “good fight” by Nigerian Big Brother All Stars rival Uti Nwachukwu after breezing into the show’s final week on Sunday.
This week, Zimbabweans can vote for Munya to WIN the show and the bumper prize of US$200,000.
Four housemates were nominated last week and when the votes came on Sunday night, Munya bossed the votes with commanding support in NINE COUNTRIES -- Botswana, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Uti was second with five countries rooting for him -- Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda. He also enjoyed the unclassified “Rest of Africa” vote.
Botswana’s Kaone Ramontshonyana and Angola’s Tatiana Durão was evicted after failing to get any country votes.
The evictions left Munya, Uti, Tanzania’s Mwisho Mwampamba, Kenya’s Sheila Kwamboka and South Africa’s Lerato Sengadi to fight it out for the top prize whose winner will be announced on Sunday night.
After hearing he was among the last five standing after shaking off NINE ATTEMPTS to get rid of him by fellow housemates, Munya – wrapped in a Zimbabwe flag -- revealed the first two nominations in the opening two weeks of the show had been the most difficult to deal with.
And toasting to their success in the garden, Uti especially honoured Munya saying “good fight!” as he hugged him.
