MAFIKIZOLO stars Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe are in London ahead of their reunion gig on Saturday night.

The South African Afro-pop duo, performing with a full band, are regrouping for their first live shows in almost four years, with a new album scheduled for release in September.

After touching down on Friday evening, the stars partied the night away with fans at the IF BAR in Ilford.

Lead singer Nhlanhla said she looked forward to the Gig but couldn’t resist moaning about London’s “downside” -- the weather.

“It’s been a while since me and Theo performed together and we can’t wait to get back on stage. Our fans have been demanding this and we have listened,” she said.

The group will also be unveiling a new team of dancers – one of the major changes in the four years that Nhlanhla and Theo have been apart pursuing solo projects.

Catch Mafikizolo live with a full band at Club Ilford [IG1 2GD] on Saturday, July 23, 2011. Doors open at 9.30PM, show ends at 4AM. Advance tickets cost £22.50. For more information call 07985568995
