BIG Brother has read the riot act to Roki after the singer admitted telling compatriot Maneta that he had nominated her for eviction from the African TV show on Monday.

Roki, who has admitted being warned by TV bosses for bullying and threatening Maneta, walked into the Diary Room on Tuesday to receive a verbal lashing for breaking the show’s rules.

The 27-year-old told Big Brother he didn’t think fellow housemates would believe him when he revealed that he had nominated Maneta and Zambia’s Mampi, before offering an apology.

But Big Brother told him: “Sorry does not push a trolley in your session here today.”

Roki must have feared the axe from the M-Net show as he sat pensively listening to Big Brother’s final admonishment.

“Roki, all housemates entered Big Brother’s house knowing full and well what is expected of them and they knew that they had to follow Big Brother’s rules. Big Brother has repeatedly warned housemates about various contraventions of Big Brother’s rules and housemates find this amusing at times. Big Brother has now lost his patience. Feel free to pass this information along.”

The Chidzoka star must now watch his behaviour to stay in the competition which has a US$300,000 prize.

Earlier on Tuesday, Maneta said she felt bullied by Roki after she turned down his romantic advances. She claimed the rapper had “dragged my dead mother into it”.

“If you tell me hurtful things, they last forever. I don’t like people who verbally abuse me. That guy verbally abuses me,” she said of Roki.

“There is no way you can love someone like that. There is no way you can even feel any good thing for someone who abuses you for nothing. That guy has gone too far in his verbal abuse.”

Maneta, who worked as an accountant at ZIMRA in Bulawayo before entering the show, added: “If I was outside, I would have just cut him off, simple. But I am here, the only thing I can do is to be polite and civil to him.”

Meanwhile, Roki cried like a baby in the small hours of Tuesday after opening up to Mampi about nominating her.

“I don’t know what I have done, God forgive me please,” he wailed while hugging the Zambian singer.

Mampi tried to reassure him, telling him it was “fine”. “I think I understand you more than anyone else does, honestly,” she comforted the teary fellow member of the rappers’ union.

When Mampi retreated to have some girl talk with Maneta, the Zimbabwean told her not to buy Roki’s sob story.
Mampi began by telling Maneta that she “felt bad”, and thought Roki had “issues”.

But Maneta counselled: “It doesn’t explain it. Everybody has a problem, for you to make it to this show... nobody made it to this show who is normal I’m telling you.

“Everybody has been through s***. Everyone has a big story somewhere in the cupboard. I will not come here and try and use my story to be mean to other people and then tomorrow I want to apologise.

“You know what, if milk is already spilt there is no way you can take it and put it back in the container. He has already nominated me and you, we might go home. That is the truth of the matter. Whether he said sorry a million times... why did he do it?”

Maneta then went to the Diary Room where she told Big Brother she thought the celebrity housemate was “unpatriotic” for putting her head on the block.

She said: “That’s the only other person I have who is close to a brother or a relative here. I would never do that to him; I feel that we are supposed to support each other because I am the only other Zimbabwean in this game that’s left.

“But he goes and nominates me. I feel like 'what unpatriotic move is that?' I'm sure in the history of Big Brother he's the first person to nominate his own countryman.”

Maneta is up for eviction with Namibia’s Lady May and Mampi during Sunday’s live eviction show. You can save her, CLICK HERE to vote online or for details on how to vote by text:
