A LOT of myths exist about Masvingo women. Legend has it that they are statistically the most educated in Zimbabwe and they also command the highest bride price on the national average.

It turns out they also “talk a lot”, according to Big Brother Africa’s Maneta Mazanhi.

The parents of the 21-year-old Bulawayo-born beauty – both late – originally came from Masvingo.

Maneta cuddled up to compatriot Roki, and they soon got talking – about Maneta’s TALKING.

“I talk a bit, but you can talk a storm,” Roki told her.

“I’m Shona,” she replied.

“I realise,” Roki said, struggling to see a link.

Maneta went on to explain: “I’m from Masvingo, haven’t you ever heard of women from there?”

Clearly Roki hadn’t. He probed her further: “What happens with women from there?”

“They talk a lot,” she said.

Roki: “A whole lot?”

Maneta: “Ya.”

Roki: “Damn!”
