OLIVER Mtukudzi and Alick Macheso’s blockbuster gigs in the United Kingdom are the pick of the summer entertainment schedule for Zimbabwean expats.
Mtukudzi and Macheso – two of Zimbabwe’s most successful recording artists – will perform for the first time together on British soil on July 6 and 7.
The two gigs in London and Leicester kick off a busy summer programme with Thomas Mapfumo, the annual Zimfest and joint gigs between Winky D and Stunner to follow.
For Mtukudzi, the UK gigs mark the start of a two-month world tour which will also take him to Canada and the United States.
