LOVERS crooner Nox Guni has released the second single from his forthcoming album with an eye on the international market.

Taking a leaf from Nigerian artists who are making waves internationally helped by an infusion of English into their productions, Nox’s latest – I Love You – is delivered entirely in English.

The single, released on Friday, comes complete with a slick video which Nox hopes will get him airplay on Channel O, MTV Base Africa and Trace.

I Love You is a step-up from Nox, who is not content with dominating the local market with smash hits like Ndinonyara (207,000 views on YouTube) and WhatsApp (85,000 clicks).

“This year we taking Zimbabwean music to the world, just as I promised,” Nox said in a message accompanying the release of the new single and video.

“They should know that we have raw and rare talent in Zimbabwe. I promised Zimbabwe at least a BET nomination award this year in the African Category and the video for I Love You might fulfil that promise.”
