Chicken Inn 1-1 Shabanie Mine

TENDAI Ndoro netted his 11th goal of the season as Chicken Inn moved to the top of the Castle Lager Premiership after playing a 1-1 draw against Shabanie Mine at Luveve on Friday.

Ndoro chipped the ball over the advancing Shabanie Mine goalkeeper Victor Twaliki after being fed by Kuda Mahachi in the 27th minute.

But the hosts went to sleep 10 minutes later as Tarisai Rukanda fired past Njabulo Nyoni from a Pevington Zimunya feed. The second half did not produce any goals, although Shabanie felt there were denied a genuine goal in the 74th minute.

With the draw, Mandla Mpofu’s Chicken Inn are now on 30 points, one ahead of Highlanders who face Caps United at Barbourfields on Sunday and two ahead of champions Dynamos who play HowMine at Luveve on Saturday.

Harare City who have 28 points host Hwange on Saturday and also have a chance to move on top ahead of Sunday’s BF battle.
