DEFENDER Passmore Bernard and forward Ishmael Lawe have followed former coach Joey Antipas to Chicken Inn.

Antipas coached the duo at relegated Motor Action and have been his top acquisitions this pre-season after he was appointed coach late last season.

Lawe however is coming from Monomotapa whom he joined from Motor Action early last year while Bernard was Motor Action captain last season.

Antipas has also roped in defender-cum-anchor-man Morgan Mungombe from Monomotapa.

“We have completed the signing of the trio and they started training on Tuesday. I have worked with two of them and I believe they will help the team in many ways.

“We are still building a strong team for the up-coming season where we want to do well. We have just started training and I am sure a few players will come very soon,” Antipas said.

Mungombe joins a defence that already has Charles Mutero, Guide Goddard and captain Felix Chindungwe.

Chicken Inn are preparing to lose star midfielder Kuda Mahachi, who Mamelodi Sundowns are keen on.

They could also lose Danny Phiri who has expressed interest to join Highlanders.

They have already parted ways with goalkeeper Njabulo Nyoni who is training with Highlanders.
