IMPRESSIVE Warriors winger Kudakwashe "Nkembe"Mahachi is thrilled with the win against Mali that earned him a man of the match performance in the 2-1 win.

Mahachi who capped a fine performance with a brilliant goal described the win as a dream come true dedicating the famous win to his countrymen and God who he described as his reason for success.

"I cannot describe how happy I am at the performance today against Mali. Going into the match we knew we were up against a very solid side but we believed in our abilities and fought for the entire 90 minutes emerging victorious despite all the odds against us.

"I thank God for my performance helping my team when it was needed most and getting the man of the match and the goal capped a wonderful night not for me alone but to my colleagues and country men and women who rallied behind us.

“We have booked ourself a semifinal slot and I believe with God on our side nothing is impossible at all as we can still go through after working hard as a team.”

Mahachi has been one of the new revelations of the 2014 Chan tournament mesmerizing fans with his skills and ability to take on defenders at will as Scouts and teams rub their palms with glee hoping to capture the impressive player .

Mamelodi Sundowns are the favourites to capture Nkembe's signature having been following the former Chicken Inn's player performance.
