ZIMBABWE international stars Kuda Mahachi, Milton Ncube and Peter Moyo who were involved in a road accident in Kadoma on Sunday left for Malawi for Wednesday's international friendly match with the rest of the team on Monday morning following a quick recovery.

The players were on their way to Harare to join the Warriors camp ahead of the trip to Malawi, when the accident happened.

Ncube, who was driving a Toyota Vitz with his Highlanders teammates, reportedly lost control of the vehicle which saw it overturning and landing on its roof.

Zifa Communications Manager Xolisani Gwesela said in a statement the players were ferried to Harare and treated at the West End Hospital at Zifa's costs after reports of the accident.

"Their injuries were minor. They were ferried to Harare and treated at West End Hospital at Zifa's costs. They were discharged and released into the custody of the team doctor,” said Gwesela.

“Their condition is very stable. They are all fine. Consequently they have joined others for the trip
to Malawi.”
