DYNAMOS goalkeeper George Chigova will miss the clash against old foes Highlanders this weekend as he is scheduled to leave for South Africa early this week.

Chigova, who is going to join his new ABSA Premiership side Supersport United, said he was sad to be leaving Dynamos but at the same time happy to leave after winning three league titles with the Harare side.

"It feels sad to leave Dynamos,” he said.

“This is a team that made me what I am today but at the same time I am happy to be leaving after winning three league titles with them.

“I wish them well for the remainder of the season. As a player you also need new challenges."

The Dynamos number one goalkeeper was not fielded in the 1-0 defeat to Hwange at the Colliery on Sunday.

Coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, preferred Artwell Mukandi who is set to take over the first choice goalkeeper at the Zimbabwe champions.

The South African Premiership side Supersport is expected to start their pre-season training on June 23.

Chigova will be the second Dynamos goalie to come to South Africa in recent years after Washington Arubi joined University of Pretoria two seasons ago.
