ZIMBABWE’S future soccer stars Macauley Bonne and David Moyo , both based in the United Kingdom, are excited by their first international call ups as the Young Warriors prepare to face Morocco in an international friendly  on Sunday.

Bonne plays for Colchester United while Moyo turns out for Northampton and the pair will be joined by Munyaradzi Mbanje who is stationed at Leeds United Academy, also in the UK.

Both Bonne and Moyo tweeted on Friday morning as they left for Morocco: “Off to Morocco.”

Colchester added to Bonne:  “Good luck to #ColU striker @macauleybonne who is off to meet up with the Zimbabwe U23s as they face Morocco in a friendly game this weekend!”
Zimbabwe, under Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa, left Harare on Thursday night for the match scheduled for Sunday night.

This is the first time that Pasuwa will take charge since replacing Ian Gorowa after the failed bid to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Pasuwa missed the last two matches against Botswana and Swaziland where his assistants Saul Chaminuka and Nation Dube took charge.

From the Netherlands comes Marvellous Nakamba, who has been playing for AS Nancy in the France and became the first Zimbabwe in the Dutch top flight after signing a four year deal with Vitesse.

Nakamba will link up with his former teammate Bantu Rovers Kuda Mahachi, who is now at Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa.

The match against Morocco, who beat Benin 6-1 on Thursday, is part of efforts by Zifa to build a team for the 2015 Africa Championships to be staged in the DRC which will serve as qualifiers for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Under 23 side will also play in the All Africa Games qualifiers.
