Caps United coach off to Cameroon

ZPC Kariba arrived in Harare on Friday for Sunday’s 2014 final PSL match against Caps United at Gwanzura Stadium.

The league debutants have one hand on the league title with just two points clear at the top of the standings.

Dynamos are their closest rivals but at least a draw will secure the league title for ZPC in their maiden PSL season.

Achieving that feat will see them joining Black Rhinos in the history books as the second side to win a league title in their debut top-flight season in Zimbabwe.

Saul Chaminuka’s side arrived in Harare on Friday for an early camp in the capital.

“We are ready for Caps United and we are looking for nothing short of three points. We have to decide it for ourselves and not rely on the Dynamos-How Mine match,” Chaminuka said.

“We just have to guard against complacency because we have not yet won it. I know some people are saying we are champions but that is not the case.

“We will not let that talk carry us away. We will wait for end of day Sunday and then start talking about us as champions.”

Chaminuka is also in the running for the Coach of the Year gong.

FIXTURES

SUNDAY: Black Rhinos v Bantu Rovers, Dynamos v How Mine, Buffaloes v Hwange Colliery, Harare City v Chicken Inn, Highlanders v Chapungu, FC Platinum v Chiredzi FC, Triangle v Shabanie, ZPC Kariba v Caps United
