ZIMBABWE football agent Gibson Mahachi has filed a case of breach of contract with Fifa against Tendai Ndoro for allegedly reneging on a written agreement he had with the player.

Mahachi - a Fifa accredited agent – claims the Mpumalanga Black Aces striker signed a contract with his agency when he was still on the books of Bulawayo club Chicken Inn.

The contract was signed in July last year, running for a period of two years.

Mahachi is claiming loss of agent fees for the Aces move and will also lodge further claims on any deal that takes the 26-year-old away from the club.

“Tendai and myself signed a representation contract in July 2013 for a two-year period and based on that I organised a number of trials for him in South Africa, where he spent nearly two months,” Mahachi told KickOff.com.

“Based on the agreement signed, it has always been my responsibility to spend money on air tickets/football equipment and this included his upkeep while in South Africa, where my partners (a big agency known to KickOff.com) also contributed to taking care of Ndoro.

“The player is not honest to the extent that I lost my agent fees from Mpumalanga Black Aces. I am now taking the issue up with Fifa based on the fact that the player
breached the agreement and made it worse by signing with another agent.”

Mahachi added: “As it stands, Ndoro has signed with two agents, which is a serious breach of contract and disrespectful of the football statutes.

“On my submissions I am claiming agent fees on the Aces deal and further claim fees on the next deal should he move to another club.

“I have already written to the player and copied all relevant letters to Zifa, but he never responded hence I am taking this matter forward. Fifa will forward the complaint to Safa, who will then hand it over to the PSL DRC.”

Ndoro has since signed with another agent, Karabo Mathang of P Management.
