Move ... Bhasera set to sign for Plymouth

ENLGISH Championship side Plymouth have succeeded in their bid to land a work permit for Onismor Bhasera.

The Zimbabwe international has been trying to secure a move to England for a number of months.

He first trained with Portsmouth last summer, but the a move failed to materialise after problems arose over a dispute with his former club Kaizer Chiefs.

He also spent time with Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday, but now Plymouth have struck a deal with the 23-year-old.

They will now need to obtain a visa and international clearance before he can make his debut.

"Having watched him work over the past few weeks, seen him interact with the players, and seen his technical ability, it became a very important step for the club to sign this young player," said manager Paul Mariner.

Bhasera is the second defender to sign for Plymouth this week after they concluded a loan deal with West Ham for Bondz N'Gala.
