ZIMBABWE and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi has been loaned to Danish Super League side Hobro IK FC for the next six months.

There he will join another Zimbabwean, Quincy Antipas.

Mushekwi, who will fly straight from the Middle East where he is seeing specialists on his troublesome knee, was not registered with Sundowns for the 2014/2015 season after returning from another loan spell at Belgian side KV Oostende, now home to Knowledge Musona.

His agent Ralph Nkomo said they were just waiting for the necessary paperwork and work-permit for the former Caps United striker. At the end of the loan deal, his stay at Sundowns will also come to an end.

“Subject to registration he can start kicking the ball,” Nkomo said. “He remains a Sundowns player until the end of the season. Look, it goes without saying that he wants out at Sundowns. What infuriated him most was that he was not even registered by the club for the 2014/15 season.”

Hobro are currently languishing seventh in the Super League after winning promotion at the beginning of the season.

Another Zimbabwean star Method Mwanjali is also stuck at Sundowns as he was not registered for this season and his proposed move to rivals Mpumalanga Black Aces fell through after he was denied the clearance last month.
