CASTLE Lager Premiership leaders Chicken Inn made light work of Buffaloes at Sakubva on Wednesday to maintain their four-point gap at the top.

Goals from regular scorer Mitchelle Katsvairo and Thabani Goredema ensured Joey Antipas' men are comfortable at the top heading into Week 20.

They now have 39 points, four better than Dynamos who continued their fine run with a 2-0 win over Triangle at Gibbo on the same day.

Both Triangle and Dynamos are on 35 points, but Kelvin Kaindu's men have scored 35 goals in comparison to the defending champions' 20.

For Dynamos, it’s good tidings from new coach Tonderayi Ndiraya, who replaced David Mandigora three weeks ago.

Mid-season recruits Rodreck Mutuma (43rd min) and Richard Kawondera (70th min) gave Dynamos maximum points from their last two matches.

Elsewhere, Hwange came good at the Colliery, thumping Whawha 3-0.

Pritchard Mpelele was on target within 60 seconds of the start before Munyaradze Mungadze added the second after 25 minutes.

Newman Sianchali then made it safe after 62 minutes with the third. At Ascot, Chapungu and Harare City drew 1-1.

Talent Chawapihwa gave the capital city side the lead after 11 minutes before Tongai Mangwendere levelled up on the half hour mark.

Dongo Sawmill and Flame Lily drew nil all at Vengere.

RESULTS

Wednesday: Buffaloes 0-2 Chicken Inn, Triangle 0-2 Dynamos, Hwange 3-0 Whawha, Dongo 0-0 Flame Lily, Chapungu 1-1 Harare City, ZPC Kariba 1-1 How Mine
