PREMIER Soccer League champions Chicken Inn are reportedly targeting Dynamos left back and Soccer Star of the Year first runner up, Ocean Mushure.

Chicken Inn are also targeting Caps United's Stephen Makatuka as they seek to bolster their squad ahead of their 2016 Caf Champions League debut.

The Bulawayo side will face South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in the preliminary round on the weekend of February 12-14.

Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube says they are racing against time to beef up their squad ahead of Caf’s Thursday registration deadline of players.

“Time is not on our side, we are chasing a few players to beef up our squad as per the coach's request and we hope we will be able to tie down some deals.

“I cannot give you the names of the players we want as nothing has been concluded as yet and some are contracted to their clubs,” he said.

Sources though indicated that Mushure wants a return to the Champions League while Makatuka's handlers believe he will be better marketed by playing on the continental scene.

On Monday, the Bulawayo side were taken through the Club Licensing Rules-a prerequisite for playing in Africa-by Zifa officials.

The one day workshop was conducted by Zifa competitions manager Weston
Mabhande.

Chicken Inn’s Ncube, secretary Tawengwa Hara and treasurer Mlungisi Moyo attended.

Last week, Zifa held a similar workshop for Harare City, who will be representing Zimbabwe in the Confederation Cup.
