HARARE giants Dynamos have raided the Highlanders dressing room with the capture of midfielder Valentine Ndaba a few days after snapping up Caps United midfielder Dominic Mukandi.

Mukandi was one of the pillars of Caps United last season alongside Joel Ngodzo under Lloyd Chitembwe who led them to a credible fifth position.

On Tuesday Dynamos president Keni Mubaiwa confirmed they had snapped up Ndaba.

“I can confirm we have signed midfielder Valentine Ndaba from Highlanders. We are signing players according to their positions and we are now looking for a striker.

“Once we get one striker we will be done with our signings. Many people have been saying we have not been busy in the transfer market but what they didn’t know was that we were quietly doing our business,” said Mubaiwa.

The Glamour Boys have also signed Triangle duo of midfielder Tichaona Chipunza and goalkeeper Ashley Reyners.

The new arrivals attended their first training session at Prince Edward on Tuesday.

Dynamos lost two players creative midfielder Ronald "Rooney" Chitiyo and right back Blessing Moyo who joined rivals Harare City.

The Glamour Boys has also hired a Portuguese coach Paulo Jorge Silva as the club’s new coach replacing Tonderai Ndiraya.

Silva was introduced to the players on Monday as they began pre-season preparations.

He has however not yet started work as his work permit papers are still being processed.

The vastly experienced Portuguese mentor will be assisted by former WhaWha coach Lloyd Mutasa goalkeepers coach Gift Muzadzi with team manager Richard Chihoro completing the technical team.

Silva has coached several clubs among them Germany’s VfB Stuttgart and Nuremberg, Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon as well as African giants Esperance of Tunisia, Nigeria’s Enyimba and Ghana’s Hearts of Oak.
