Mapeza’s FC Platinum start 2016 season preparations

AFTER finishing third last season and falling to defend their Chibuku Super Cup crown, FC Platinum are aiming higher after signing seven players.

They have brought in Under 23 international Nqobizitha Masuku from Highlanders, Hillary Bakacheza from Triangle and Rodwell Chinyengetere from Hwange.

In addition, they also brought in the trio of Ishmael Wadi, Last Sithole and Wallace Magalani from Southern Region Division One side Bulawayo Chiefs.

Barnabas Mushunje was promoted from their Under 19 side.

The Zvishavane based side started preparations on Monday and are due to go to Kariba for high altitude training.

Club president George Mawere has promised a haul of trophies this season, including the PSL title.

Having finished third, they will also take part in the Easycall Cup where they were knocked out by Highlanders in the quarterfinals last season.
