WITH one game to go this season, Mamelodi Sundowns can make history with a win over Platinum Stars on Saturday, and Khama Billiat has expressed the team’s desire to reach their goal.

Should Sundowns beat Dikwena, they will become the first team, since the league was scaled down to 16 teams, to make it beyond the 70-point mark, with Pitso Mosimane’s team currently sitting on 68 points.

The in-form Khama Billiat has said that, even though the league title has been secured, he and his teammates are still focused on winning their last game.

“We are still focused on the last game of the season,” he told the Siya crew. “We can't say because we have won the league then we relax.”

The Zimbabwean international added that his team will put in their best efforts to set a benchmark for seasons to come.

“We will play the same way we have been playing throughout the season. We still need the three points to set our own record in the league,” the Zimbabwe international concluded.

Sundowns will face Platinum Stars on Saturday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
