AFTER scoring his first goal since his return to Dynamos in Sunday’s 2-1 derby win over Harare City, Denver Mukamba has promised to deliver more in the remaining ten league matches.

Mukamba struck a spectacular goal that torched Rufaro Stadium and set the tone for a fine afternoon, that saw Ocean Mushure seal victory for Dynamos from the penalty spot after Jerry Chipangura had equalized for City.

Making the victory more crucial was the fact that it ended Dynamos’ run of six matches without tasting victory.

The result also eased pressure on Coach Lloyd Mutasa who had come under fire during the woeful run.

But it was Mukamba who stole the limelight with his first goal for Dynamos since 2012 before he left for Wits University.

“It was good to score my first goal for Dynamos since I returned and I always knew this moment would arrive. There are ten games to go before the season ends and expect me to score more goals,” Mukamba said.

“We have been working hard with the coaches at training and they have been inspiring us. That is what made me play the way I did as well as how my teammates conducted themselves. The coach made me play as a striker and I fitted well. If he asks me to play in that position again I will oblige and do my best.”

Since his return to Dynamos, Mukamba has been battling to overcome disciplinary issues that saw him being axed from the team in last week’s home draw with Bulawayo City.
