BULAWAYO: Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe by six wickets to win the triangular series final on Sunday, chasing down the home team's modest 160 all out for a comfortable victory.

Asela Gunaratne took 3-10 with his medium pace bowling, then was at the crease to see Sri Lanka home at Queens Sports Club. Sri Lanka cruised to 166-4 in 37.3 overs, winning with more than 12 overs to spare.

Half-centuries by Kusal Mendis and Upul Tharanga put Sri Lanka back on track after a mini-wobble at 42-3. Mendis made 57 and Tharanga was 57 not out, and finished the game with a four and a six.

They shared a partnership of 75 and Tharanga and Gunaratne (16 not out) then had an unbroken stand of 49.
