Warriors drop two places in latest Fifa rankings

NATIONAL men’s soccer team the Warriors have dropped to position 105 from 103 according to the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday.

The Warriors lost 2 group matches and drew one in the AFCON Group matches. The team also played two 1-1 draws with Cameroon and Ivory Coast in International friendlies.

In Africa, the team sits a distant 32nd position.

Cameroon, following their AFCON 2017 triumph, are up to a massive 29 spots to 33rd in the world and third in Africa.

Argentina remain the No.1 ranked team ahead of Brazil & Germany.

World top 10: Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Chile, Belgium, France, Colombia, Portugal, Uruguay, Spain.

Africa top 10: Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia, DR Congo, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco.
