DYNAMOS shot to the summit of the league table for the first time this season after maintaining their 4-0 advantage over Chapungu at Ascot Stadium on Thursday.

The match was abandoned on 54 minutes in June following a bizzare incident which saw a goal post falling down under the weight of the hosts' goalkeeper as he desperately tried to save a shot.

And the ill-fated match resumed from the 54th minute with the visitors leading 0-4. This time around no goals were witnessed as Chapungu minimized the damage.

Emmanuel Mandiranga, Denver Mukamba and Joel Christian Epoupa were on target for Dynamos before the match was called off.

Dynamos will now shift their focus to the Chibuku Super Cup in which they face Bulawayo City at Rufaro stadium while Caps United will face holders Ngezi Platinum at Baobab.
